Our research division offers a high premium on qualitative and field research on political, social, economic governance and democratisation trends at all levels of the society.

We carry out Policy Studies on: Governance practices, democratisation, civil society engagement with the state, socio-economic and financial resources development, International Relations, employment and enterprise building and restructuring; governance issues – local and national.

Our Legal studies Unit research expertise covers administrative law, discrimination law, human rights, labour law, and various aspects of arbitration and dispute settlement, comparative law, South African criminal law, financial Services and regulation law, financial crimes, Land Law and; legislative studies/law reform.


Security Studies (anti-terrorism, perform security risk assessments, design, manage and implement reliable integrated security systems, security consulting for mega events, competitive business intelligence etc).


Quantitative Research Unit


MPM’s Quantitative Research Unit is a multilateral and innovative division that focuses on field research within and beyond South Africa. It contributes meaningfully to Corporate South Africa’s engagements and operations by providing insights on threat and risk analysis, business solutions and opportunities. 

It also provides timely, credible and accurate research that enhances clients’ decision making processes. It further provides effective and efficient strategies based on analytical trends and informed decisions that advise client (s) on best practises vis-a-vis sustainability, efficiency and growth.
